Functions and advantages of the rounding and grinding machine

The equipment is specialized in grinding oxide scales and defects on the surface of forged round billets, meeting the elevated surface quality requirements, thereby enhancing the economic benefits of the enterprise.

2. The equipment design utilizes continuous rotation of the billet and uniform feeding of the trolley for round billet grinding.

3. The equipment is equipped with two sets of grinding wheel units, one for rough grinding and the other for fine grinding.

The main motor of the rough grinding wheel unit has a power of 90KW. The grinding wheel used has a large grain size and high hardness, and is mainly used for grinding surface defects. The surface roughness after grinding is approximately Ra25-50.

The main motor of the fine grinding wheel unit has a power of 55KW. The grinding wheel used has a smaller grain size and lower hardness, and is primarily used for surface fine grinding and polishing. After grinding, the surface roughness is approximately Ra12.5~25.

4. The equipment is equipped with functions for measuring workpiece length and controlling workpiece position, enabling automatic full-peeling and grinding control.

5. The equipment can achieve fully automatic peeling and grinding of steel surfaces, as well as manual control for localized grinding. It is easy to operate and maintain. The entire process of moving the grinding trolley and performing grinding is controlled by a PLC program. It allows for fully automatic control of the entire process, and can also be manually controlled as needed.

The specific functions are as follows:

(1) You can choose between automatic full peeling and grinding, or manual partial grinding.

(2) The coarse grinding wheel unit can perform constant power floating grinding according to the uneven surface of the blank. The fine grinding wheel unit adopts constant pressure dressing control.
